Research Scientist

The Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute (EORI) seeks a qualified research scientist to work in Information Assembly and Acquisition.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include: Assisting senior scientists and researchers at the Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute with their characterization studies of key oil reservoirs in Wyoming. Preference will be given to applicants with significant work experience in field geology with the ability to conduct field geology descriptions and operate heavy instrumentation.

 

EDUCATION : BS in Geology, 5+ years experience

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Experience with GIS and/or LIDAR, practical field experience, independent decision making and self managmement skills, physical fitness and strength to assist with instrumentation work in the field, research reporting, database analysis, desire and ability to work as a team member
