Marketing Coordinator/Research Analyst

 

The Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute (EORI) at the University of Wyoming invites applications for a Marketing Coordinator/Research Analyst, Position # 4535

 

With funding from the Wyoming Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission, totaling about $3 million/year, the Institute facilitates research and outreach by staff members and affiliated faculty from several UW departments. EORI’s mission and other information are available at the Institute’s web site, http://eori.gg.uwyo.edu/.

Education : PhD in Geology or Reservoir Engineering and 4+ years experience in marketing/marketing research including brand development.

Knowledge of : MS Access, MS Excel, ARC-GIS and Macromedia Dreamweaver. Experience with ECLIPSE and/or CMG modeling software. Demonstrated aptitude in geology, reservoir engineering, marketing and brand development, database maintenance/analysis screening technologies and business development.

Expected duties : Marketing the Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute in consultation with the Public Relations department of the University of Wyoming, identification of prospects for enhanced oil recovery technologies and the development of database screening techniques as well as analysis and maintenance of the EORI databases and website.

Additional skills: Good communication and presentation skills as candidate will frequently communicate directly with high level officials in academic, corporate and state government environments. Website development and maintenance. An established publications record desired.
