• The dates for the 2009 Wyoming EORI CO2 Conference have been finalized.

• The EORI has just launched its new workdshop on Reservoir Fractures and Stresses, to be led by Dr. John Lorenz, Geoflight LLC. • Geoffrey Thyne presented an update of the Low Salinity Research Program, Brian Reyes presented on the development of a GIS in the institute and Glen Murrell made a presentation on the results of the first EORI Survey to the Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission at their quarterly meeting in Casper, WY on July 16th.

• The EORI sponsored the recent AAPG/SPE/SEG Joint Hedberg Conference on "The Geologic Occurrence and Hydraulic Significance of Fractures in Reservoirs" in Casper on July 14-18, 2008.
